So long.
Today was a big day for my family. It was taken as a shock, even though we knew that it had been coming for some time now. Today was the day my family split paths. The quarreling between my mother and father was increasing, and we were sure it was the last straw when mother took all of the furnature and put it on the front lawn. She said that she couldn't stand to be in a house with all of those things that reminded her of my father. The getting rid of furnature was not enough to get him out of her mind though. She started ignoring my siblings, the ones that look like that wretched man.
This separation of children caused the ones who were outside of mother's favor banded against myself, who looked like her father. When mother decided to burn the house down, because it brought back all the pain and suffering my father induced inside it, they stayed behind, staring at the house. My mother and I followed the old train tracks south to Connifer. The others headed north to Fort Collins, where they tried to find their father, but last i heard they had no luck.
Nice story, Tiki. I like the character of the motherly arsonist.
