Stephan Mallon
Mr. Mallon's photography is primarily outdoors, using the natural light from the sun. I am under the impression that his photographs are digital, due to the recent nature, and no other clues stating the contrary. They are industrial photos, and have no props. Most of the images have subjects that are either unaware, or really good actors if they are aware. I can spot subtle vignetting on some of the images, but not all. It seems to be personal edits, that require a small amount of time, effort and knowledge of photoshop.
Jeff Wolfram
Mr. Wolfram takes most of his pictures outside, or in well lit areas. This helps me to believe that his photographs do not use artificial lighting. Based on the timely creation of the photographs, they are probably digital, and with no knowledge against it, i assume it to be true. The photos seem to be architectural and industrial, which make the subjects natural, and without props. I cannot spot any photoshop, but i am unable to tell because i havent seen the original images, unless the originals are the published photos. Due to my lack of certainty of whether photoshop was used, i am unable to tell the amount of people that edited the photos.
Yousuf Karsh
Yousuf Karsh was one of the greatest portrait photographers. In his photography, you can tell that he uses artificial lighting, and it shows in the fact that the hands are often lit separately than the rest of the body, or the face. He started photography before digital photots, and i dont see a change in style over time, so i think he always used film prints. There are various props in some of his images, but not all. I dont see any photoshop, and photoshop wasent created until after he had done most of his photography.
